So Kanye West is Jesus now? I’m befuddled. I can’t figure this one out? Is this generational, racial, political or just plain megalomania? This man is a multi-millionaire rap artist. He is also the idiot that said, “President Bush hates black people.” So does he feel like he is being crucified for his ignorant a** comments?
Good. He should feel crucified.
O.k. I get it. I am no longer confused. The rapper Kanye is all of the above! Mr. West is a rich, spoiled Hollywood lefty. This is the kind of crap that only a self-absorbed liberal could think of... <Portray yourself as the crucified Christ on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine?>
Is this something that a conservative would ever do?
Will there be repercussions?
Ha!
It’s a different season. A different generation is sitting in the judgment seat and guess what? They’ve lost their moral compass; the guardrails have long been taken down. The 60’s have scrambled their brains. Right is wrong, wrong is Right. “Freedom of speech man! It’s our constitutional right!”
Remember when John Lennon said that "The Beatles were bigger than God?" People started smashing their albums, ole Johnny had to take that crap back! Johnny spoke freely but he recanted when America’s youth “expressed” their displeasure by driving steamrollers over 45’s of “I wanna hold your hand.”
How will America now respond to this? In the article, Kayne (Black Jesus the crucified rapper) admits that he is addicted to pornography! That he loves it! Holy abomination Batman! This from the man who won a Grammy for “Jesus Walks?” So here’s the question: Will Kanye West, like John Lennon, find rejection in the market place? Better yet, will the black church rise up to chastise this young brash ingrate for his blasphemous behavior?
Again, Ha!
Forty year ago black people were regarded as the conscious of a nation. Well if Mr. West’s actions are any indication, we are now a nation without conscious.
The season has changed. A storm is on the horizon.
